ADAS stands for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems.

Ty’s Body Shop is owned by Ty Ulmer, from Larchwood IA. I was raised in the shop! Welding, fabricating, and repairing cars is a staple of my childhood. From nationwide mechanic competitions to traveling with my family’s motorsports team, I have been a car guru for years.
I received two Associate’s Degrees at Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls for Business Administration/Entrepreneurship and Collision Repair & Refinish Technology.
I worked in the collision repair industry in the Sioux Falls area spraying paint, prepping for paint, body repair, electrical and ADAS repair, and cleaning cars for delivery.
In my free time, I enjoy wrenching and fabricating on our pulling tractor, spending time on the trails in the Black Hills, and spending time with my friends and family.
